DELIVERY POLICY

Standards Distributors Limited is committed to deliver your items within 48hrs of placing your order*. Our dynamic Distribution Team will contact you via telephone to schedule delivery, to verify delivery address and to confirm placement of item. Our deliveries are routed and therefore a confirmed time of delivery will be an estimate.

We ask that customers or your assigned representative inspect your order, before signing our delivery document confirming receipt in good order. If you are not able to accept delivery after it has been dispatched, the team will assist in rescheduling same at a later date. You will also have the option to collect at our Central Warehouse, however conditions apply.

This is a basic delivery service and therefore the driver will place your items inside your home. Additionally, please note that delivery will be done to a maximum of one flight of stairs at your address. If delivery is needed to more than one flight of stairs extra provisions will have to be made by the customer. Please also note that delivery will be done to the ground floor of the address in the case of multi-story buildings. If an elevator is available and the item can fit comfortably in the elevator, then delivery will be made directly to the customer’s address. It is paramount to Standard that we conduct our deliveries with the safety of our staff in mind, as such, if the delivery poses a threat to our staff or our property (vehicles or items), we will contact you to make alternative arrangements.

Installation and Assembly can be provided at an additional charge which will be facilitated upon request.

*Please note this commitment does not include items that are out of stock or special-order items.

PICK UP POLICY

Our system is designed to facilitate pick up options at our central warehouse location and selected showroom.

Our central warehouse is open for pick up Monday to Friday from 8am to 4pm and Saturday from 8am to 1pm, excluding Public Holidays.

Please note that an ID will be required at pick up. All online sales must be collected by the purchaser. A third party cannot collect on your behalf.

ASSEMBLY AND INSTALLATION SERVICE

Our basic delivery service includes the driver placing your item(s) inside the home but does not include set up or assemble of your Item(s).

SDL offers assembly and installation as an additional service and would be happy to assemble your furniture or install your appliance upon request, at an additional fee. Once advised prior to delivery, small items can be assembled at our warehouse and delivered already assembled.
