Standard – working with Secondary Schools

Company News

In an effort to assist with educating secondary school students in the area of road safety, Standard Distributors Ltd. partnered with the Ministry of Transport, the TTPS and other stakeholders. For this inaugural competition, Success Laventille Secondary and Mt. Hope Secondary prepared their students in the various areas of road safety eg. Using the crosswalk, understanding roadway signs and general tips on safety on our nation’s roads.

As a reward for preparing for the inaugural quiz, where schools had to demonstrate knowledge of proper road safety guidelines, the company distributed tokens to the hard-working teachers who worked closely over several months with their students. Each school was also given a prize for their effort. The Inaugural Joint Schools Road Safety Project, was held on Wednesday March 11th 2020, at Government Campus Auditorium.

Mr. Kurt Wolfe , of Success Laventille Secondary School is pleased to receive a token of thanks from Standard’s Head of Sales and Marketing – Ms. Nataki Kerr, for his work in getting his young charges ready for the First Annual Road Safety Quiz held at Government Campus Auditorium.
